"I really enjoyed the two days I spent on my mini vacation scheme with Martineau. It was a great chance to gain an insight into life at the firm. We were given plenty of opportunities to meet solicitors of differing experience from a variety of practice areas.

Often when you apply for a training contract you only know what you read about a firm. I was impressed by what I had read about the support offered to trainees at Martineau and the diversity and flexibility of their six seat training contract. So it was great to have this confirmed by the current trainees during my mini vacation scheme, and also to meet some of the partners who might end up supervising me during my training contract. It's an ideal chance to find out whether you are right for the firm and whether the firm is right for you."
