coaching and supervision throughout their training contract.
Each trainee has a personal mentor who guides them through
their training contract.
Trainees
receive regular feedback about their progress to assist
them with their career development and they have an appraisal
following each seat. Training needs and objectives are decided
at these review meetings. Our system of career planning
ensures that your journey through your training contract
is individually tailored to your aspirations.

We
offer a structured training programme at all levels. Trainees
benefit from an induction programme, weekly seminars and
the Professional Skills Course which is organised on an
in-house basis.
"Generally,
the firm's trainees are given experience in four
main areas - education or private client, commercial
disputes, commercial property or corporate - and
they are then given the opportunity to carry out
further work in areas of their choice and specialism,
which are outside the "core" areas. There
are opportunities for Birmingham-based trainees
to be exposed to the London scene."
