At
Martineau, we are
always looking for people
who share our brand values and who can bring know-how, passion
and plain-speaking to the delivery of done deals.
We aim to recruit
12 graduate trainees
a year. These will be men and women with good degrees (though
not necessarily in law) with strong communications skills
and the passion we expect from every member of staff. We
currently hold 2 open days
a year.
In return for a salary
which will be well above the Law Society recommended minimum,
you will be able to benefit from a full and varied programme
of training, with a unique system of seat rotation in which
you will spend four months each in six seats. Your final
seat will usually be in your chosen specialist team.
During the training programme, you will receive regular
feedback to help you in your personal and career development.

"Martineau is a West Midlands stalwart and a fixed reference point for most of the region’s blue chip corporates. The firm is increasingly focused on a green energy market, which incorporates the full range of commercial legal services as well as public sector advisory work. A growing London presence adds a City element to the firm, with seven lateral hires in Birmingham in 2006 shows a commitment to growth."
